Competition Venue - Event Services AssistantCompetition Venue - Event Services Assistant This front-of-house role involves a variety of responsibilities which include selling tickets or programmes, assisting the spectator flows around the venue, and helping distribute official accreditation. Close
Competition Venue - VIP AssistantCompetition Venue - VIP Assistant VIP Assistants will work with the VIP Manager to look after the VIP welcome desk and area, and ensure VIPs have a memorable, safe and enjoyable experience at the 2010 BT PWC. Close
Competition Venue - Court Assistant (WCBB only) Competition Venue - Court Assistant (WCBB only) Court Assistants will help the Competition Manager and Officials by keeping the court boards neat during play, collecting the balls when they go out of play and helping with cleaning the court between matches. Close
Competition Venue - Media AssistantCompetition Venue - Media Assistant Media Assistants will work with the media team to look after the results, print and television media during the event.
This will include helping to provide athlete quotes, keeping the results boards up to date and ensuring all relevant people have the correct results (officials, commentary team etc). Close
Transport & Accommodation Assistant - DriverTransport & Accommodation Assistant - Driver Drivers will transport event staff, VIPs, athletes and officials between the airport, venues and hotels, whilst ensuring that cars are kept clean and tidy at all times and also assisting with any other duties as required by the transport team. Transport & Accommodation Assistant - Airport LiaisonTransport & Accommodation Assistant - Airport Liaison Airport Liaisons will meet and greet all athletes, officials and other key personnel who arrive at the airport for the event. This may include manning the reception desk at the airport, directing athletes and officials to the organised transport vehicles and providing general information about the BT PWC to any visitors through the airport. We also have 3 roles available in a Hotel Liaison position.
This involves looking after the Welcome Desk in the hotel, ensuring any questions the teams have are answered, and working with our travel and accommodation company to ensure the athletes' needs are catered for. The role involves close contact with the athletes and teams and whilst it can be quite busy around meal times, it will also involve quiet periods while athletes are training / competing.
