Leading international Wheelchair Basketball players will descend on Manchester in May, as the top four male teams in the world today confirmed they will be competing in the 2010 BT Paralympic World Cup.

Just one week after leading Premiership Footballers Shay Given, Wade Elliott and Michael Duff launched the 2010 BT Paralympic World Cup, one of the world's most recognisable Paralympic athletes, Oscar Pistorius, has confirmed he will compete in this year's event.

Leading North West football players including Manchester City goalkeeper Shay Given and Burnley FC players Wade Elliott and Michael Duff were on hand yesterday to help welcome Football 7-a-side to the 2010 BT Paralympic World Cup.
