ELEANOR SIMMONDS (GBR)
“It was a good race for me, I couldn't have done more.
“It's great that the BBC are giving our sport and the BT Paralympic World Cup live coverage this afternoon as it's what we need in order for more people to see, and support us.”
DAVID ROBERTS (GBR)
“My race was ok. I tried to go the same time as last week at the European trials and ended up getting exactly the same time.
“It can be frustrating in the outside lane as you have no sense of how everyone else is going It was a strong field and to win a multi disability event is always hard work.
“I'm feeling comfortable ahead of this afternoon. It's just another race and that's how I'll look at it.
“It's not how I'd ideally like to spend my birthday but hopefully I can get another good time and a medal this afternoon.”
HEATHER FREDERIKSEN (GBR)
“I broke the record last week as well and also set a PB so to break it twice in one week is good.
“My plan was to go out strong and stay strong but I dropped off a little bit towards the end, so I know I have a bit more to give.
“People expect us to do well as we did in Beijing and to do well all the time, so there is a little bit of added pressure on us which we are having to learn to deal with.
“But that pressure will help us prepare for London 2012 because the closer we get to then the more we are going to face that pressure, and it will be about who has learnt to deal with it best”
Jessica Long
“It was a good race. It hurt a lot and I don't think I was together but I'm happy with that. Its not my best, but it was close and I'm happy with it. The atmosphere was good.
"I haven't been training much but its really nice coming together and seeing everyone like Heather she's a really good friend so it's good coming to the BT Paralympic World Cup to see people.
"I have trials in June in Canada for the World Championships later this year so I hope to go there and break some world records.”
