Official Sports Drink : Powerade

PoweradePowerade is the Official Sports Drink of the BT Paralympic World Cup, providing both product and hydration equipment to all competing athletes, as an essential part of their elite kitbag. Supply is for both training periods and on event days to ensure optimal hydration, a crucial component for elite performance. Powerade is also the Official Sports Drink of The London 2012 Olympic Games and the Official Sports Drink of both Team GB and ParalympicsGB, supporting athletes on their journey to The London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Powerade ION4, launched in February 2011, is a still isotonic sports drink that contains fluids and minerals for effective hydration, and carbohydrates for replenishing the fuel your body loses during exercise. It is developed to help athletes train or perform at their best for longer. Its combination of carbohydrates rapidly supply fuel for the working muscles and help sustain performance levels during prolonged high intensity training sessions (lasting more than 60 minutes) or competitive matches.

In addition, designed for lighter training sessions or low intensity workouts, Powerade Zero is the first zero sugar, calorie free fitness drink enhanced with an advanced mineral system including sodium that hydrates the body without adding back the calories.
