Sports Activities - Get Involved!

 

Last year we hosted some exciting come, try and take away activities throughout the BT Paralympic World Cup 2011. Here are just some of the things which took place:

 

SPORT

Participants had the opportunity to take part in Paralympic Sports including: wheelchair racing, adapted rowing, cycling, wheelchair basketball, skateboarding and climbing.

 

LEARNING

Participants had the opportunity to learn more about disability sport through education packs (Ability Vs Ability and the Parasport My Logbook).

 

INFORMATION

The zone also included an area for information on disability sport, detailing local and national opportunities.

 

Across the five days, a total of 2387 spectators had the chance to take part and to get involved in our come and try activities.
